CHLOE REPEATEDLY IGNORES RELEASE CONDITIONS IN WELLINGBOROUGH AND ANNE WALKER
In June 2020, a concerning pattern of non-compliance and disregard for court orders emerged involving a sex offender known as Chloe, who has been repeatedly failing to adhere to the conditions set upon their release from incarceration. The individual, who resides in Bell Court, Wellingborough, has a history of using multiple aliases such as Brandon, Steven, James Walker, and Jamie Thornton online, often to deceive and lure young victims into engaging in sexual activities over the internet.Despite identifying as a woman, court and prison records indicate that Chloe is recorded as male and continues to commit offences under male pseudonyms. This ongoing behavior has raised significant concerns among authorities and the community alike. The latest incident involves Chloe's failure to notify the probation service of a change in address, which was a direct violation of the strict conditions imposed during her previous release from prison.
Specifically, the terms of her release mandated that she inform the authorities of any new residence within three days. However, on May 21, Chloe neglected this obligation, failing to communicate her new living arrangements to the probation service. This breach of protocol prompted her immediate recall to prison, and on the following Monday, she was sentenced to an additional 14 days behind bars for what was described as a 'flagrant disregard for court orders.'
Her history of non-compliance is extensive. Court proceedings have revealed that Chloe, now 29 years old, has repeatedly flouted the conditions of her release following multiple prison sentences. Notably, in March 2019, her solicitor, Waquar Ali, successfully argued before Northampton Magistrates Court for a suspended prison sentence for Chloe’s breach of a sexual harm prevention order issued in 2016. This order prohibited her from using the name Jamie Thornton to contact a victim via Facebook.
During that hearing, Chloe appeared via video link from jail, as she was already serving a ten-month sentence for another offence. Mr. Ali informed the court that Chloe was due for imminent release and that arrangements for housing and employment had been secured, funded by taxpayers. Despite the court’s decision to suspend the 18-week sentence, Chloe was released shortly thereafter. However, within just seven days, she failed to attend a scheduled probation appointment and did not sign in at a police station, further demonstrating her ongoing disregard for legal obligations.
In May of the following year, Chloe admitted to breaching her conditions and was ordered to serve the original suspended 18-week sentence, along with an additional 20 weeks for two new offences. After serving a total of 36 weeks in prison, she was released once again. Yet, her pattern of non-compliance persisted, and she has now once more failed to meet the conditions of her latest release, continuing a troubling cycle of violations that pose ongoing risks to the community and her victims.
