PAEDOPHILE WHO SEXUALLY ASSAULTED TEENAGE BOY JAILED
Law enforcement officers from the Paedophile Online Investigation Team (POLIT) carried out a search of a residence on Pudding Bag Lane in Pilsgate, Stamford, on September 29 of the previous year.During the search, they located Wayne Clark, who resided on the same street, inside the premises.
The operation was prompted by information suggesting that indecent images of children were being uploaded from that address.
Clark’s phone was subsequently examined, revealing images and a video tied to the sexual exploitation of a child, stored within an encrypted folder.
The digital files included date and time data, indicating they were taken three days earlier in Peterborough, which helped identify the victim.
Clark, aged 27, was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a child under 13.
He was also detained on suspicion of possessing indecent images of children and confessed to these crimes during police interview.
He later admitted to engaging in sexual activities with a minor under 13 and possession of indecent images.
At Peterborough Crown Court on Monday, December 13, 2021, Clark received a prison sentence of two years and four months.
He was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years and issued a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
This order grants authorities the authority to monitor his online actions to mitigate future risks to the public after he completes his sentence.
