JAYDEN PATEL – PETERBOROUGH MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO CHILD SEX OFFENCE

Jayden Patel has pleaded guilty at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.

The plea was entered during a hearing on 10 October 2025.

Following his admission of guilt, the case was adjourned to 10 November 2025 at the same court for sentencing.

The adjournment was granted to allow time for pre-sentence reports to be prepared, enabling the court to determine an appropriate punishment.

The offence falls under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, which covers online and direct communication offences involving minors.

Witnesses have been informed that they are not required to attend until the sentencing date unless otherwise notified.
