MARTIAL ARTIST STEVEN ORDISH JAILED FOR RAPE AFTER STEROID CLAIMS
A rapist who claimed taking steroids made it difficult to have sex has been jailed for seven years.Martial artist Steven Ordish preyed on two women between 2013 and 2018 in Clydebank as well as Balloch.
The 42 year-old was today sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow having earlier been convicted of raping both women.
Ordish, also of Clydebank, had been found guilty of four charges in October.
He had originally stood trial in February this year before the case was halted.
Jurors heard how he had met the first victim - a 36 year-old woman - on a dating site.
Ordish denied having a sexual relationship with her.
He told his original trial: "I was working two jobs and organising things as well as doing Thai boxing at the time." Miss Arrol today said: "He maintains his position of denial." The judge told him: "You know what you have been convicted of and the attitude the courts take to it." He also denied raping a 30 year-old woman insisting anything that happened was consensual.
