RAPIST WHO 'ROBBED TEEN OF CHILDHOOD' JAILED
A "purely wicked" child rapist who "robbed his victim of her childhood due to his sordid sexual interests" has been jailed.Shaun Fuller, 40, from Nelson, Lancashire, raped his 15-year-old victim three times in Burnley in 2021.
Fuller pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape and sexual assault but was sentenced to 15 years at Preston Crown Court.
The victim described how the attacks impacted her education, relationships, and mental health.
She recounted struggles with trust, mental health, and her school and social life due to the trauma.
Det Con Sarah Holmes described Fuller as a "purely wicked individual" whose offending continues to profoundly affect her life.
Fuller was also made subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
