TWIN BROTHERS FINED AND BANNED FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY IN HAWICK
The Bradshaws, members of a notorious feral crime family originally from Burnley, Lancashire, failed to give the unnamed pets a proper diet and neglected their needs. The Scottish SPCA attended the address in Liddlesdale Road, Hawick, in response to reports of neglected dogs living there.
The dogs were found to be emaciated and it was estimated that their dietary needs had not been met for a couple of months.
They had also not been given water for 24 hours.
The floors of the property were covered in dog mess.
The brothers’ despicable cruelty was blamed on one of them losing his job and not having the financial means to look after them properly.
It was said that the other brother tried to care for the dogs but was unable to do so.
The fate of the dogs has not been reported.
The brothers admitted causing unnecessary suffering but only received a tiny fine and three-year ban applicable just to dogs.
