MAN JAILED FOR MULTIPLE CHILD SEXUAL OFFENCES
A man has received a 24-year prison sentence following his conviction on numerous child sexual offences.
Phillip Arthur Dickin, 54, who is currently detained at HMP Dovegate, was handed his sentence on Monday, 15 December, after being found guilty in a trial held at Stafford Crown Court the week prior.
The court convicted Dickin of two counts of raping a girl under the age of 15, four counts of engaging in indecency with a minor, seven counts of indecent assault on a female minor, and one charge of child cruelty, with the verdict announced on 11 December.
Additionally, Dickin confessed to possessing an explicit image on 5 September 2025.
