TENANT'S SICK ANIMAL PORN STASH CONTAINED PHOTO OF HIS LANDLORD'S PET DOG

Convicted sex offender Mark Lloyd, 30, was jailed for 30 months after police received a tip that he was using chat rooms.

A landlord who was shown his ex-tenant's animal porn stash by police was horrified to see his pet dog in the obscene picture.

Convicted sex offender Mark Lloyd, 30, was jailed for his stash of porn filth, which included his landlord's Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Spartacus.

Police were given a tip that he was using chat rooms and his computer was seized.

But, when the flat-owner was shown one of the pictures by police, he shouted: "That's my dog!" As well as animal porn, police also recovered a number of indecent images of children covering "all categories and one extreme image".

Prosecutor Nicholas Gareth Jones said: "Enquiries were made by police in relation to that photo involving the dog.

"The defendant's landlord was able to identify the dog as his from the photo." Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court was not told specifically what perverted Lloyd had done with Spartacus - apart from saying the picture was obscene.

Lloyd, from Rhondda, Wales, admitted possessing and distributing indecent images.

The Recorder of Cardiff Judge Eleri Rees jailed Lloyd for 30 months and made him the subject of a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

He will also have to sign as a sex offender indefinitely.
