HAWICK WOMAN ACCUSED UNDER ANIMAL HEALTH AND WELFARE SCOTLAND ACT 2006
A HAWICK woman has been accused of two offences under the Animal Health and Welfare Scotland Act 2006.Jean Black, 57 and of Cheviot Road, is charged with causing a protected animal unnecessary suffering by an act or omission and also failing to meet the needs of an animal by an act or omission.
Her case was continued without plea at Selkirk Sheriff Court until August 4.
A non-appearance warrant remains outstanding for her co-accused Ian Darling, 62, from Jedburgh.
