MAN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED GIRL IN DUNFERMLINE OVER FOUR YEARS
A 38-year-old man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl in Dunfermline over a four-year period.The victim was aged between 12 and 15 years at the time.
The offences were committed by Jason Allan, who was brought up in Dunfermline but now lives in Yorkshire.
Allan, of Cedar Close, Ripon, was convicted after a trial at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
A jury found him guilty of a charge that on various occasions between February 11, 2004, and February 10, 2008, at addresses in Dunfermline and elsewhere, he used lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards a girl, who was aged 12 to 15 years old at the time.
He touched her breasts, pulled her towards him to sit on his knee, made sexual comments to her, exposed his penis and repeatedly requested her to touch his penis.
He pressed his body against her, played a card game with the intention that she would remove her clothing and he also removed his clothing in her presence.
He also lay in bed beside her, pressed his body and erect penis against her body, followed her when she was going to the toilet, touched her on the buttocks and observed her urinating.
He was found not guilty of three other charges.
Sheriff Susan Duff called for reports and Allan will return to court for sentencing on February 23.
He has been put on the sex offenders register.

He acted in a sexual manner towards the child over a four-year period at addresses in Dunfermline.
On various occasions when she was aged between 12 and 15 he played a card game in which he induced her to remove her clothing and removed his own.
He also touched her on her breasts, made sexual comments and exposed his penis to her.
Following a trial at the city’s sheriff court Allan, who now lives in Ripon, North Yorkshire, was found guilty of engaging in lewd and libidinous behaviour towards the child between 2004 and 2008.
He was found not guilty of three other charges.
