FIFE STALKER CLAIMED HE ‘WANTED TO SEE DOGS ONE LAST TIME’
Graham Ross, 38, was convicted of stalking his ex-partner at her Fife home from June 1 to 30 last year.He spent around three hours hanging outside her residence and sent her over 200 emails and between 300 and 400 texts, which caused her alarm and distress.
Ross appeared in Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing after pleading guilty to stalking, and was sentenced to 100 hours of unpaid work along with a two-year non-harassment order.
He stated he wanted to see the dogs one last time as an excuse for his behaviour, which was seen as persistent and repeated and caused considerable upset to the victim.
