TEENAGER SPARED JAIL FOR ASSAULTING UNCONSCIOUS PARTNER AT WETHERSPOONS
A teenager from Dalgety Bay has been spared imprisonment after attacking her unconscious partner in a Wetherspoons pub in Dunfermline.
Frances Johnston previously admitted assaulting the woman at the pub on the town’s High Street on September 20, 2020.
It was reported that she grabbed the woman by the hair, pulled her to the ground, and kicked her on the head.
While her victim was unconscious, Johnston then repeatedly punched her on the head and body.
Additionally, Johnston pleaded guilty to racially abusing a police officer who attended the scene, shouting, swearing, and uttering offensive comments at him.
The case was heard at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, where Sheriff Craig McSherry ordered her to complete 200 hours of unpaid work within the next year as an alternative to custody.
