MAN DESCRIBED AS NARCISSIST JAILED FOR TERRORIZING EX-GIRLFRIEND'S FAMILY

The article details the case of Fezhan Bahadur, a 25-year-old man who repeatedly breached a restraining order by threatening his ex-girlfriend's family.

Despite being handed an indefinite restraining order in January 2022 that prohibited any contact, Bahadur began sending her multiple messages across various social media platforms from false accounts starting in December 2023.

He made threats to harm her, damage her property, and physically hurt her family members, including her father, mother, and sister.

Bahadur also coordinated with others to send them to their home in Huntingdonshire to cause damage.

Since April of the previous year, police reported that at least three individuals visited the victim's home, making threats and throwing bricks at the property, cars, and causing damage.

Bahadur was located through social media and phone records and was arrested at Stansted Airport upon returning from Dubai on August 22.

On February 18, at Cambridge Crown Court, Bahadur pleaded guilty to harassment by breaching a restraining order and was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison.

An additional indefinite restraining order was issued against him to prevent further contact.

The judge, Hurst, described Bahadur as a 'narcissist' and called the case the worst for breach of a restraining order the court had seen.

DC Naomi Jackson stated, “This has been a harrowing and terrifying ordeal for the victim and her family whereby Bahadur went to extraordinary lengths to destroy her life.

This has not been in any way easy for the victim, and I have constantly been in awe of her strength and resilience throughout this case.” The victim's bravery was emphasized as the key reason Bahadur is now behind bars, and the article highlights that domestic abuse can happen to anyone, offering support and encouragement for victims.
