DOUGLAS MCALLISTER FROM COATBRIDGE AND LANARK SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES IN COATBRIDGE WATER PARK
In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, Douglas McAllister, aged 33, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison after being found guilty of engaging in inappropriate and illegal acts in a public water park located in Coatbridge.The incident involved McAllister exposing himself and performing a sex act in front of two nine-year-old children within a changing cubicle at the facility known as the Time Capsule.
This series of sickening acts took place in May 2018, leaving parents and visitors deeply unsettled and raising serious concerns about safety and security at the popular recreational spot.
Further details of McAllister’s misconduct reveal that in the same month, he coerced a 10-year-old girl into viewing explicit photographs of female genitalia, an act that compounded the severity of his criminal behavior.
The investigation into McAllister’s activities uncovered additional disturbing evidence, including the possession of numerous indecent images at his residence in Coatbridge.
Among these were computer-generated images, often referred to as pseudo-photographs, which depict children in explicit scenarios, as well as images involving bestiality, highlighting the extent of his depravity.
McAllister, who is now residing in Lanark, admitted to all charges brought against him.
As part of his sentencing, he will be required to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years, a measure intended to monitor and restrict his activities to protect the community from further harm.
