ROSYTH MAN EXPOSED HIMSELF TWICE
A man from Rosyth has been sentenced to perform unpaid work after being caught exposing himself on two separate mornings.This incident occurred when a neighbour saw him at dawn in his garden with his gown improperly tied, revealing his erect penis on both occasions.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, 33-year-old Craig Kettles pleaded guilty to a charge of public indecency.
The prosecution, led by Johnny Bruce, explained that the neighbour first observed him on September 29 at around 5:20 am, noticing Kettles standing with his back turned, then turning sideways to reveal himself.
The same neighbour saw him again doing the same thing on September 2, leading to police involvement.
Kettles’ solicitor, David McLaughlin, stated that the woman told police she was not afraid but felt embarrassed.
He emphasized that the incident was very embarrassing for Kettles, who expressed regret and wanted to move past it.
McLaughlin also referenced community speculation and said the woman should not have been allowed to see the incident.
Sheriff Mark O’Hanlon ordered Kettles to complete 135 hours of community service within the next six months, adding that he was unsure of the reasons behind the defendant’s actions, though he acknowledged the shame it caused.
