This week, he admitted to taking or creating indecent images of children between February 7, 2018, and October 16, 2020, at his residence on Norval Place.
He also confessed that on August 16, 2020, he intentionally caused a person to view a sexual image.
In a prior case heard at Dunfermline Sheriff Court, it was revealed that Williamson had been invited to a woman’s home where her 11-year-old child was present.
The woman was unaware of the court restriction preventing Williamson from having contact with minors.
Police were called around 2 a.m.
over a noise complaint, and upon investigating the house, officers spoke with Williamson and uncovered the offence.
Defense solicitor Fraser Napier stated, “He has been residing in his home since October and has been struggling with his mental health.
He had been invited to celebrate the woman’s birthday.” Williamson admitted breaching his bail conditions and was sentenced to four months in jail.
Sheriff James Macdonald commented, “This was a clear and intentional offence.”
