DUNFERMLINE MAN IN COURT FOR VIOLENT ATTACK ON PARTNER
A Dunfermline man named Barry Shepherd, aged 43, was involved in a serious assault on his partner, which resulted in her losing three teeth.The incident occurred at an address in Dunfermline on August 6, where Shepherd headbutted her on the head causing severe injury.
Following this assault, Shepherd was granted bail but soon breached his conditions by going to the woman's home and causing a disturbance, including shouting, swearing, and attempting to break into the property by kicking the patio door repeatedly.
During court proceedings, Sheriff Charles MacNair refused bail and ordered Shepherd to be sentenced on January 15.
The case highlights a pattern of violent and threatening behavior, with Shepherd having behaved in a threatening, abusive manner on the same day, attempting to strike his partner repeatedly and attempting to seize her body, with children present at the scene.
