CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER STOCK BANNED FROM CARAVAN SITES NATIONWIDE
A dangerous convicted sex offender known as Anthony Stock, also using the name Kirkbright, has been subjected to a banning order to prevent him from entering any caravan or camping sites across the country to protect young girls.Stock has a criminal history including unlawful sex with a girl with learning difficulties and detaining children without authority.
Police last year applied for an interim Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) after reports that he attempted to lure a frightened young girl into a caravan in Lancaster.
He offered her sweets and threatened violence.
Stock, aged 39 and residing on Extwistle Street, Nelson, is now under a full SOPO which is in place until further notice and is already registered as a sex offender.
The order prohibits him from allowing anyone under 16 into his residence, associating with females under 16 without supervision, and entering any caravan parks, camping, or holiday homes.
Court proceedings highlighted that he poses a high risk of re-offending, with the NSPCC carrying out a risk assessment.
Stock’s past convictions include a 2000 case where he unlawfully had sex with a girl with a mental age of nine.
The latest incidents include police receiving a complaint last year from a mother whose 10-year-old daughter was approached by Stock at a Lancaster caravan site, where he threatened to hit her if she did not comply.
