CLYDEBANK MAN JAILED FOR DOMESTIC ASSAULT WITH HEADBUTT AND PUNCH
Anthony Greer, aged 36, was involved in a violent domestic attack where he drank straight vodka on the day of an Old Firm football match and then assaulted his partner.
The incident occurred in Faifley Road, Clydebank, where Greer violently punched and headbutted his partner as she slept.
During the attack, he reached over sleeping children to punch her, resulting in her suffering a large head wound and bleeding heavily.
When her mother arrived, Greer approached and punched her on the nose, causing it to burst open.
Greer ran away from the scene and was found on September 14 with bloodstains on his clothes.
He pleaded guilty to the assault and was sentenced to two years in prison, backdated to September 15, and was also placed under supervision for 12 months after his release.
The attack caused significant injuries, and the woman received hospital treatment, with a permanent scar on her head.
