FIFE CHILD SEX OFFENDER ANDREW GRIEVE WHO WAS JAILED FOR REPEATEDLY RAPING CHILDREN BACK IN THE COMMUNITY
Andrew Norris, formerly known as Andrew Grieve, was convicted of sexually abusing two very young children at his residence on Mclelland Crescent. In 2009, he received a seven-year prison sentence after accepting a plea bargain.
One of his courageous victims chose to speak publicly in 2009, relinquishing her right to anonymity following Andrew's plea deal, which resulted in a lesser charge of sexual assault related to the two children over several years.
He was sentenced to seven years, and during the Edinburgh High Court hearing, it was revealed that he had laid on top of the children, aged four and five, naked.
The original rape charges were dropped.
We have exclusive access to detailed official documentation which confirms that the actual crimes involved serious sexual assault.
Specifically, Andrew Grieve committed acts of penetration, inserting his penis into the children's vaginal, anal, and oral cavities on multiple occasions.
The sentence of just seven years is widely regarded as a miscarriage of justice that cannot be overlooked.
Following his release, Andrew engaged in further relationships with vulnerable women and children, and he was subsequently charged with attempted rape and physically assaulting an off-duty police officer.
