DUNFERMLINE TEENAGER ALEXANDER PRICE ADMITTED TO ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR TOWARDS FORMER GIRLFRIEND
Alexander Price, an 18-year-old from Kingfisher Place in Dunfermline, has pleaded guilty to a series of abusive acts directed at his former girlfriend, who was 16 at the time.His misconduct included choking her, following her with a knife through the streets, and kicking her while she was pregnant.
Additionally, he was removed from her school premises after becoming agitated.
Price appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court to admit to various charges.
Between October 1, 2022, and February 18, 2023, at multiple locations such as Pittsburgh Road, Fife College, St Columba’s High School, and Dunfermline High Street, he engaged in a pattern of abusive behavior.
This included grabbing her by the throat to restrict her breathing, despite her pregnancy, and demanding to see her mobile phone.
He shouted offensive comments at her, attended her college, sat beside her, and held her shoulder to prevent her from walking away.
He also contacted her school and shouted at her and her friends.
On February 18, 2023, at Kingsgate shopping centre, High Street, and James Street in Dunfermline, Price breached bail conditions by approaching and making contact with her again.
He was also found to be unlawfully in possession of a knife.
The court deferred sentencing until November 13 to allow for reports to be prepared, emphasizing that all legal options remain available.
