POLICE HUNT SEX OFFENDER WILLIAM CLAWSON WHO POSES A 'SIGNIFICANT RISK TO WOMEN'
2019 ——— A convicted rapist who poses a "significant risk to women" is wanted by police.William Clawson, 27, is a registered sex offender who was released from prison on January 17 after serving a sentence for rape.
He has also spent time in prison in March, May, and August this year for offences including battery, failing to notify of his whereabouts, and threatening behaviour.
Police want to recall him back to prison after he failed to comply with probation conditions after his release.
The force has warned that Clawson poses a significant risk to women and that he should not be approached.
It is believed he could be in the Lincoln or Gainsborough area.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "Since his release, Clawson continues to be managed by Lincolnshire Police’s Management Of Sexual Offenders and Violent Offenders unit." "The unit urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Clawson to report it to the police without hesitation."
