LEICESTER MAN CHARGED WITH THREE RAPES, MAKING THREATS TO KILL AND DAMAGING WINDOWS
A Leicester man has been charged with three counts of rape and multiple other serious offences.
Wahid Rob faces nine charges in total relating to alleged incidents between January and September this year.
The 27-year-old appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 2.
He is accused of three counts of rape, with two alleged to have occurred on Friday, September 12 and one between Saturday, August 16 and Tuesday, August 19.
Rob also faces charges of assault by penetration, making threats to kill, threatening to damage property, and criminal damage to three windows at a property on Monday, September 29.
Magistrates sent the case to the crown court and remanded Rob in custody.
He is due to appear in Leicester Crown Court on Monday, November 17, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
