'DANGEROUS' SERIAL RAPIST JAILED FOR OVER 20 YEARS
A "dangerous" serial rapist has been jailed for "truly shocking" offences committed against two women in Kirklees.
Tristan Bould, 31, had denied nine counts of rape but was found guilty following a trial at Leeds Crown Court in October.
According to West Yorkshire Police, four of the offences against one victim represented rapes thought to have happened on at least 40 occasions.
On Wednesday, Bould, of no fixed address, was jailed for 22 years with three years on extended licence and handed an indefinite restraining order which prevents him from contacting both victims.
Bould was reported to police in June 2024 by the second victim, who disclosed to officers she had learned Bould had also seriously sexually assaulted another woman previously.
Police were able to identify and speak with the woman who disclosed the offences he had committed against her.
According to police, seven counts of rape against one woman took place between 2019 and 2022, and two against another woman in June 2024.
