BARRY PAEDOPHILE CAUGHT WITH INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN

A PAEDOPHILE has been caught red-handed with dozens of indecent films and photographs of children.

Thomas Price, 68, of Barry Road, Barry was ordered to register as a sex offender for five years after appearing at Newport Magistrates' Court.

The defendant pleaded guilty to making three category B and 43 category C indecent images of children between March 24, 2023 and November 4, 2024.

He was sentenced to a 12-month community order and must complete a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement and was made the subject of a 12-month mental health treatment.

Price was also made the subject of a five-year sexual harm prevention order and has to pay a £120 fine, a £114 surcharge and £85 costs.
