BARRY MAN FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING WOMAN IN PARK

A MAN has been found guilty by a jury of sexually assaulting a woman in a park.

Adam Evans, 37, of Margaret Avenue, Barry was convicted of the offence at Porthkerry County Park following a trial at Newport Crown Court.

He had denied the charge.

The defendant’s case was adjourned to January 15 next year for a pre-sentence report.

Evans was granted conditional bail by Judge Carl Harrison.
