—————————————————————————————————— Owen Evans, 39, of Barry Road in Barry, admitted to engaging in sexual activity with a teenage girl after grooming her for months and arranging to meet in Llantwit Major on May 31.
He pleaded guilty to sexual communication and an offence of making indecent images of a child at a previous hearing on January 14.
During the trial, he admitted meeting a child after grooming and one offence of sexual activity with a child, but maintained his not guilty plea to the second offence.
The case is scheduled for sentencing on March 4 after a pre-sentence report is prepared to assess the risk he poses to the public.
