BARRY MAN JAILED AFTER BEING FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUAL ASSAULT
A MAN has been jailed after being found guilty of sexually assaulting woman.He was convicted following a trial of the attack that was committed in Barry last summer.
He had denied the offence.
At Newport Magistrates' Court, the defendant, of no fixed abode, Barry was sent to prison by District Judge Sophie Toms.
Jones was jailed for 14 months in total after the offence put him in breach of a suspended custodial sentence which was activated.
The defendant will have to register as a sex offender for seven years.
He was ordered to pay £650 costs following his release.
