MAN BRANDISHED CROWBAR AT PEOPLE AND CHALLENGED THEM TO FIGHT
A Musselburgh man will be sentenced next month after he appeared in court to admit acting aggressively towards his partner while in possession of a crowbar.Steven Walker, of North High Street, shouted and swore at the woman before he began throwing her clothes out of a window at an address in the town’s Goose Green area.
Walker also uttered threats of violence, brandished the crowbar towards members of the public and challenged them to fight with him during the incident on October 17.
The police were called in and the 35-year-old was arrested and charged with several offences.
He pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and to possessing an offensive weapon when he appeared in the dock at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week.
Sentence was deferred to January 22.
