STEPHEN SKEPPER JAILED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES IN LINCOLN AND BRACEBRIDGE HEATH

In a significant case that has shocked the local community, Stephen Skepper, a 61-year-old resident of Sleaford Road in Bracebridge Heath, was sentenced to 22 months in prison after being convicted of multiple serious sexual offences.

The offences, which spanned several decades, included disturbing acts involving an underage girl and possession of illegal images, highlighting a long history of troubling behavior.

Skepper's criminal activities date back to the early 1990s, when he was found guilty of gross indecency with a child.

The case came to light after the victim reported the abuse to the police, prompting a thorough investigation.

The authorities uncovered evidence of Skepper's misconduct, which included not only the historical offences but also the possession of a number of illegal images, as well as a prohibited image, during a subsequent arrest in 2012.

The court proceedings took place at Lincoln Crown Court on Tuesday, April 19.

The judge sentenced Skepper to 22 months in prison, reflecting the gravity of his crimes.

In addition to the custodial sentence, the court imposed a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, which aims to restrict Skepper's activities and prevent further harm.

Furthermore, he was ordered to sign the sex offenders register for a decade, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities and potential risk to the community.
