FRASERBURGH SEX OFFENDER SENT BACK TO PRISON AFTER MORE INDECENT IMAGES FOUND
A “predatory” paedophile has been sent back to prison after police found a cache of child abuse images on his mobile phone.Shaun Summers – who previously boasted he was “deadly serious” about abusing children – was jailed three years ago after he was caught with sickening messages on his computer.
He also encouraged underage girls to send explicit images and gave graphic instructions on sex acts.
Summers appeared again at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after police discovered more indecent images on his device.
Police arrived on December 16 following intelligence of uploading child abuse material to an online account linked to him.
Analysis revealed seven Category A, six Category B, and 14 Category C images.
Summers pleaded guilty to downloading indecent images.
Previously, he was jailed in 2023 for engaging with a fake profile set up by vigilantes and talking to minors online about abusing children.
His solicitor acknowledged culpability but stated he couldn’t explain why the images were on his device.
The sheriff jailed him for nine months and ordered him to register as a sex offender for ten years.
