GRADUATE JAILED FOR TERRORISING SIX WOMEN IN ONLINE ABUSE CAMPAIGN
A 26-year-old graphic designer has been sentenced to over five years in prison for causing terror among six women through an online abuse campaign.
Shaquille Williams manipulated one woman by threatening to share intimate photos with her family and friends unless she provided additional images he requested and attempted to control.
At Nottingham Crown Court, Williams received a prison sentence of five years and three months following his conviction on charges of blackmailing the victim between January 10, 2019, and May 10, 2019.
Additionally, he was found guilty of harassing three women and instilling fear of violence during the period from April 18, 2019, to May 21, 2019, as well as sending offensive messages to two other women, for which he was also convicted.
Williams, who holds a university degree and used multiple social media platforms, sent disturbing content to the women, including images of acid attack victims.
Some survivors received messages containing details about their hometowns, pictures of hydrochloric acid, and references to their street names.
