STALKER JAILED AFTER 'CAMPAIGN OF HARASSMENT' AGAINST WOMAN
A stalker accused of targeting a woman through a sustained harassment campaign and threatening to release an explicit image of her has been sentenced to prison.
Adrian Vaduva was convicted of stalking that caused fear of violence from September 16 to September 30, 2025, and of threatening to disclose a photograph or video of someone in an intimate setting between December 1, 2024, and September 29, 2025.
The 53-year-old, whose guilt was established through a jury trial, tracked the victim from her residence to her workplace and persisted in making calls and sending messages, despite being subject to a Domestic Violence Protection Order (DVPO).
DVPOs are legal measures issued to safeguard victims from further danger, outlining specific restrictions for the accused, such as prohibiting contact with the victim or entering certain premises.
Law enforcement officers regularly monitor compliance with these orders and respond promptly when violations are detected.
Vaduva, from Nottingham, received an 11-month prison sentence at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday, March 13.
Additionally, a five-year restraining order was imposed, restricting his contact with the victim and another individual.
