CHILD PORN PERVERT HAD 'ALADDIN'S CAVE' OF DRUGS IN NOTTINGHAM HOME
A drug-dealing Nottingham paedophile made searches on the internet using terms such as “incest,” “underage,” “10-year-old” and “child porn”.Nottingham Crown Court heard how the police found what a judge called “an Aladdin’s cave” of drugs when they searched the family home of Lewis Green.
Evidence showed how the 26-year-old, of West Bridgford, was selling cocaine, ecstasy, LSD and ketamine alongside viewing sick child abuse images for his own sexual gratification.
Handing him a two-year jail term, suspended for two years, Judge Michael Auty KC said: “Heaven knows why but you took it into your own mind to get on your desktop and laptop and search for what were plainly abusive images of underage girls.
“Some people think this is a victimless crime.
It is not.
Those are real children with real parents and the notion of you, or anyone else, drooling over their children being sadistically abused would turn their stomach and the stomach of any right-thinking individual.
“If that was not bad enough, when the police came to your house they discovered an Aladdin’s cave of drugs.
“Cocaine is the most pernicious drug and involves cases we see almost every day coming through these courts but there was also magic mushrooms, LSD and ecstasy.
“I have read impressive references from people who love and care for you and others who owe you no obligation at all and, they carry greater weight.
“This is one chance, there are no more.
You are getting one opportunity you will not, I promise you, get another one.” Samantha Warner, prosecuting, said police executed a warrant at the defendant's home address on January 29, 2025, on information that an internet address there was downloading child abuse images.
She said the defendant’s parents were present and a search saw them seize electronic devices.
The prosecutor said: “While he was en route to custody information was received there were class A drugs at the address.
“Found were indecent images and search terms including ‘incest,’ ‘underage,’ ‘10-year-old, ‘child porn’ and child sex’.
“During the search the drugs were found albeit small amounts compared to what this court often sees.
“There was £1,655 in a safe and messages on a phone that showed evidence he was selling to users.” Green, of Stavely Way, Gamston, pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of indecent images of children, possession with intent to supply cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, Ketamine and being concerned in the supply of magic mushrooms.
He has no previous convictions of any kind.
James McWilliams, mitigating, said: “It is an odd case particularly for this young man.
“He accepts he was stupid for a long period of time but in the past 12 months he has done a lot.” As part of the suspended sentence order the judge ordered the defendant to carry out 200 hours unpaid work and to attend 10 rehabilitation sessions.
He also placed him on the sex offender register for 10 years and handed him a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
