SCOTT FLEMING FROM PRESTONPANS CAUGHT WITH HORRIFIC BESTIALITY VIDEOS IN SCOTLAND
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Prestonpans, Scott Fleming, born around 1996 and residing on Redburn Road, was found to possess a collection of extremely disturbing and illegal videos involving bestiality.The incident came to light when cybercrime officers executed a search warrant at Fleming's home on May 10, 2021, uncovering a series of graphic and depraved videos on his mobile device.
During the raid, officers from the National Child Abuse Unit seized multiple pieces of electronic equipment, including Fleming's mobile phone, a laptop, and an external hard drive.
The investigation revealed that Fleming had downloaded and stored a number of videos that depicted horrifying acts of animal abuse involving a horse, a pig, and a dog, all being subjected to sexual assault by adult men and women.
These videos were classified as extreme pornography, and their discovery raised serious concerns about the individual's mental health and potential for further harm.
Prosecutor Debbie King provided details to the court, stating that four MP4 videos were recovered from Fleming's mobile device.
These videos showed disturbing scenes, including a female and a male engaging in sexual acts with a horse, a pig, and a dog.
One particularly shocking video also depicted an adult female and an adult male inserting a live, moving drill into another man's penis, highlighting the extreme nature of the material Fleming had accessed.
Fleming appeared in court and pleaded guilty to possessing extreme pornographic material depicting acts of bestiality.
Despite the gravity of the charges, he was sentenced to a community order, which included a nine-month supervision order and 162 hours of unpaid work within the community.
Notably, Fleming was not placed on the sex offenders register, a decision that drew criticism from some observers and advocates for stricter sentencing in such cases.
In the same proceedings, Fleming's older brother, Gordon Fleming, born around 1994, also appeared in court accused of possessing images related to child sex abuse.
However, the Crown accepted his plea of not guilty, and he was not convicted.
The case against Gordon Fleming remains unresolved, and he awaits further legal proceedings.
