FIFE MAN RYAN LUMSDEN CHARGED WITH BABY'S MURDER
A man has been charged with murder following the death of a two-month-old baby boy in Fife.Ryan Lumsden, aged 26, is accused of killing the infant in Glenrothes last month.
The young child was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy after falling unwell at an address in Glenrothes, and subsequently died.
Lumsden appeared before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday to face a murder charge.
He did not enter a plea, and the case was committed for further examination.
Lumsden was released on bail.
Police Scotland confirmed: “A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a two-month-old baby boy.
“Around 3pm on Sunday July 27, officers received a report of a baby having died within Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, after earlier becoming unwell at an address in Glenrothes.
