YOUNG MAN AVOIDS JAIL AFTER MOLESTING FRIEND'S GIRLFRIEND ON HER BIRTHDAY
A man named Robert Horne, aged 21, was involved in an incident where he sexually molested his friend's girlfriend while she was asleep.The woman, aged 21, was celebrating her birthday when the attack occurred.
After a night out, Horne invited her and her boyfriend to his home in Kincardine.
She was allowed to sleep in his bedroom, but she woke up to find Horne lying beside her with his trousers down and touching her inappropriately.
The victim ran to another room, screaming, 'He's been touching me.' The court described Horne's conduct as 'utterly inappropriate and unacceptable.' He was sentenced to two years' probation, 140 hours of community service, mandatory registration on the sex offenders' register for two years, and was ordered to undergo alcohol and behavioural counseling.
The incident took place last March and was reported to the authorities, resulting in the court's judgment and sentence.
