KINCARDINE MAN JAILED FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT ON COASTAL PATH
A man identified as Kelvin Nyadundu, aged 34, was involved in a series of sexual harassment incidents targeted at women walking alone near Kincardine. The court heard that he made crude sexual remarks while juggling balls, including asking one woman, "I'm being a naughty boy.
Can I w*** in front of you?" and later, "Would you like to juggle my balls?" In a separate incident, he asked another woman if she would perform a sexual act on him.
The women, aged 53 and 59, reported being approached by Nyadundu while walking separately, with him confronting them on the Fife Coastal Path.
Nyadundu, from Easter Currie Court, Edinburgh, was tried at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and found guilty of both charges by Sheriff James MacDonald, who ordered reports before sentencing.
As a result of his conduct, he has been placed on the sex offenders' register, with sentencing scheduled for February 16.
During his trial, Nyadundu claimed that his comments were jokes and that he intended to test what people found offensive or humorous, referencing the comedy character Borat to explain his style of humour.
Previously, he had also appeared in court wearing a T-shirt with a squirrel and the phrase 'Leave My Nuts Alone,' which drew correction from the sheriff.
His actions have now led to serious legal consequences.
