RICKY BURKE TO GO TO TRIAL OVER ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT
A man has denied allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a child but has admitted to possessing necrophilic porn.Ricky Burke appeared before Preston Crown Court charged with two counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a boy aged between 13 and 15, one count of making indecent photographs of a child, and one count of possessing extreme pornographic images which involve sexual interference with a corpse.
The 20-year-old entered guilty pleas to the last count but pleaded not guilty to the others.
Burke, of Drayton Close, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, is alleged to have sexually assaulted a 15-year-old in Darwen in March 2024.
He will go on trial on November 9 2026, with a pre-trial review scheduled for September 18.
It is expected to last three days, with the defendant bailed until the hearing.
