PERVERTED MAN SENT MOTHER AND DAUGHTERS SEXUAL VIDEOS OF HIMSELF
A man with a disturbing obsession involving a mother and her two daughters has been sentenced to prison after he sent sexually explicit videos of himself to them.Ricky Albon, who resides on Newton Street in Millom, collected around 500 images of the women from social media, which he then sexualised and carefully categorized into folders by year, Preston Crown Court was informed.
During his arrest, authorities also discovered multiple indecent images of children stored on two of his electronic devices, the court heard.
Prosecutor Caleb Suggitt explained that these events were reported to police in April 2024.
In 2021, one of the daughters told her mother that she received a naked photo of Albon, although the image had been deleted before the mother could see it.
The following July, the same daughter revealed she had viewed an image of Albon masturbating.
On the same day, the mother’s other daughter reported seeing the same image.
When confronted, Albon claimed his social media accounts had been hacked and admitted he was aware of the content.
Despite his explanations, the court was told Albon continued to send images, including more explicit videos, to one of the victims on the same day.
The situation escalated further on March 22 of the previous year when Albon sent a video of himself masturbating to one of the daughters, reportedly saying, 'Look at me showing my genitals to you, feast your eyes.' The prosecution detailed that Albon repeatedly expressed affection toward them, calling them beautiful and claiming he loved them.
Efforts by the victims to block Albon were unsuccessful as he created new accounts to contact them.
Following his arrest, police confiscated 12 electronic devices from his home, revealing three Category A videos and three Category C videos of teenagers on a desktop and a hard drive.
Additionally, 500 images of the family, downloaded from social media, were found to be sexualized and organized into folders by year.
Although evidence indicated Albon sent more indecent materials to two other individuals, the Crown Prosecution Service chose not to pursue charges in those cases.
Her Honour Judge Heather Lloyd described this omission as 'inexplicable.' Albon, who had prior convictions for indecent exposure and public indecency, pleaded guilty to charges of creating indecent images of children and transmitting offensive or indecent material.
Defence lawyer James Heyworth emphasised his client's remorse, noting he had taken an online course addressing inappropriate sexual behaviour and maintained he was not attracted to children, denying any sexual interest.
HHJ Lloyd deliberated for 20 minutes before coming to the decision to jail Albon for 14 months.
She told him: “You say you have a sex addiction.
Your victims were five children who were being sexually abused for your own sexual gratification.
They had no choice.
They have been sought for men like you.
"You deny you are sexually attracted to children and say you accidentally clicked on the images but that is not true.
“What was found on your devices was disturbing.
Your offending was prolonged and targeted over a period of time.
There is limited mitigation.
“You do not accept full responsibility for what you have done.
You demonstrate an obsession for the family which is very alarming indeed.” Albon was also made the subject of a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and sex offender register notification requirements.
