SHILDON PAEDOPHILE CAUGHT WITH DISGUSTING CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IS JAILED
A man from County Durham, convicted of possessing disturbing images of child abuse, has been sentenced to prison.Phillip Gibb, 66, was given a 20-month jail term, suspended for two years, after admitting to charges related to child sexual abuse images in November of the previous year.
Additionally, he was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for ten years, designed to limit and oversee his online activities.
During the investigation, police reviewed his laptop, discovering two still images classified as category A, which depicted the sexual exploitation of children aged five to nine.
Gibb was detained and did not speak to the authorities.
The court partly activated his sentence from November, imposed an extra six months for violating the SHPO, which remains in effect until November 2035, and also ordered him to register as a sex offender for ten years.
