CHILD SEX OFFENDER JAILED
Peter Cox, aged 66 and residing on Brambling Way in Oxford, was handed an 18-year prison sentence at Amersham Crown Court on Wednesday, 20 May.The court imposed a special custodial sentence reserved for offenders deemed particularly dangerous, which entails serving the entire prison term without the possibility of early release, along with a mandatory two-year extended licence period post-release.
Cox admitted guilt to six counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14, two counts of gross indecency with a girl under 14, and two counts of gross indecency with a girl under 16.
The crimes occurred between 1998 and 2002 in Milton Keynes.
The victim was a minor at the time of the offences.
He was first taken into custody on 5 September 2018, and after a detailed and lengthy investigation, charges were filed against him on 1 November 2025.
