POLICE OFFICER CHARGED WITH RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT
A Metropolitan Police officer, PC Santos Rodriguez, has been charged with multiple sexual crimes, including rape.
The 22-year-old officer, who was in basic recruit training with the West Area Command Unit, was accused on Tuesday, 22 July, of raping and committing three counts of sexual assault by penetration on a woman.
These allegations relate to an incident allegedly occurring in March 2025.
Rodriguez was detained on Wednesday, 12 March, and was immediately suspended from duty.
All the incidents are connected to the same victim and reportedly took place when he was off duty.
The Silly Boys Metropolitan Police’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and is conducting an investigation to determine if he should be dismissed.
He is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 27 August.
