GLENROTHES MAN FINED FOR DOMESTIC ASSAULT AND THREATS
Paul Brorrar, aged 33, from Glenrothes, was involved in an incident where he dragged a woman from a property and made threats against her life.The woman was on a night out with friends when Brorrar, after an argument, pushed her and dragged her to the rear garden, causing minor injury to her finger.
Subsequently, he told her, "you’ll be dead before police get here," when he confronted her again.
Police arrived to find Brorrar struggling with officers; it required four police officers to subdue and arrest him.
Brorrar had previously sent the woman abusive messages and had been involved in another assault, causing fear and alarm.
At Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, he was fined for assault and resisting arrest, with Sheriff Timothy Niven-Smith imposing a £400 fine.
The court described his behavior as part of a series of concerning actions, and he remains under court supervision.
