WEST YORKSHIRE POLICE CHARGE 42 IN CHILD EXPLOITATION INVESTIGATION
Forty-two individuals have been charged during an investigation into non-recent child sexual exploitation (CSE) in West Yorkshire.Among those accused is Nobhar Shah, aged 69 from Batley, who has been charged with two offences of rape and living on the earnings of prostitution.
The other defendants, most from Kirklees, face a variety of offences against six girls between 1995 and 2015, mainly in Dewsbury and Batley.
The accused are scheduled to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court.
West Yorkshire Police detailed the charges, including several counts of rape, causing the prostitution of a girl under 16, and related offences.
