BATLEY MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO ASSAULTING GIRLFRIEND AND ANOTHER WOMAN
A 'jealous' man has admitted slamming his girlfriend's head against a television and biting her during a row at his home.Kieron Emson, of Arncliffe Road in Batley, beat up his then-girlfriend at around 1am on August 5 last year.
The 25-year-old also assaulted another woman later that day.
He appeared in Leeds Crown Court from custody in HMP Leeds for a brief plea and trial preparation hearing.
Emson pleaded guilty to two charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Kirklees Magistrates' Court previously heard Emson became jealous, grabbed his girlfriend's phone from her and told her to leave.
When she refused to do so he grabbed hold of her by her hair and dragged her around the room.
The victim begged Emson to let her go but he instead took hold of her by the head and slammed it against the TV set.
He then bit her and ripped her clothing as he lifted her up off the floor and then tried to drag her from the house.
Later the same day, Emson went to another woman's home and assaulted her.
A charge of sexual assault in relation to the second woman was allowed to lie on the file.
Sentencing was adjourned for the probation service to produce a pre-sentence report.
He will be sentenced on March 20.
Recorder Taryn Turner told Emson: 'You should brace yourself for a substantial custodial term.'
