PAIR ACCUSED OF RUGBY BABY MURDER FACE MORE CHARGES
A man and woman who are due to stand trial over the death of a baby are set to face further charges.One-year-old Isabella Stasiak was taken to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on 7 January and was later pronounced dead.
Michal Stasiak, 26, of Blackwood Avenue, and 24-year-old Kinga Wydrzynska, of Johnson Avenue, both in Rugby, have been accused of murder and causing or allowing the death of a baby.
They are now set to appear at Leamington Magistrates' Court on Friday with additional charges of two counts of sexual assault by penetration.
The pair will also face three counts of the assault, ill-treat, neglect, abandonment of a child or young person, to cause unnecessary suffering or injury - against three children.
The pair are currently due to stand trial at Warwick Crown Court on 6 October 2026.
