POOLE POLICE OFFICER JAILED FOR 16 YEARS FOR RAPE
A police officer from Poole, named PC Michael Graham, has been sentenced to 16 years in jail for committing multiple rapes and sexual assault.He was convicted by an Old Bailey jury on Thursday of seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The court learned that Graham, who was employed by the Metropolitan Police at the time of the offenses, repeatedly assaulted his victim over a nine-month period.
During the abuse, Graham used a smartphone app designed to monitor sleep, which was automatically triggered to record when it detected sound in the room.
Reports indicate he would tie his victim’s hands with a rope before forcing himself on her.
Graham, aged 49 and residing on Croft Road, was suspended by the force following his arrest in October.
He was acquitted of two other counts of rape.
