LEICESTER MAN JAILED FOR LIFE AFTER WIFE MURDERED IN DRUG-FUELED RAGE
Matthew Ashill, aged 37 and identified as a cross-dresser, has been found guilty of murdering his wife, Clare Ashill, during a violent episode fueled by drugs.
The fatal attack took place early on March 21, when Ashill assaulted his wife with a series of violent acts including bludgeoning, stabbing, and strangulation, with no apparent motive.
Clare, who was 31 years old, sustained 80 injuries, which included three stab wounds to her heart, throughout the 45-minute assault.
Eyewitnesses reported that Ashill ignored her cries for help and even paused to remove his dress after it became bloodstained.
