TEEN COUSINS JAILED FOR BRUTAL RAPES IN HUDDERSFIELD
At just 17 years old, Lucas Sienkiewicz was involved in a series of deliberate and violent sexual assaults targeting women in Huddersfield, including sex workers.Alongside his cousin Daniel, he preyed on vulnerable women in the area’s red light district.
One woman recounted how Lucas approached her, offering to pay £30 for oral sex, only to then proceed to rape her without using a condom while Daniel watched.
Lucas gave her £15 initially, promising the rest later, but when she tried to leave due to non-payment, both he and Daniel caught up with her.
They dragged her into an alley, where she begged them to stop and insisted she was innocent.
Despite her pleas, Lucas raped her and then observed as Daniel assaulted her again.
A different victim was approached later, and Lucas again initiated a sexual assault, raping her twice despite her efforts to de-escalate the situation by calling them 'good guys.' These acts involved coercing victims into sexual acts, with Lucas often taking the dominant role, causing significant psychological harm.
Authorities used CCTV footage, DNA analysis, and phone records to build their case, resulting in the convictions.
Lucas pleaded guilty to three counts of rape, while Daniel admitted to two.
They received sentences of 14 and 11 years and three months, respectively, with lifelong registration as sex offenders.
Judge Tom Bayliss QC highlighted the brutality, planning, and violence behind their crimes but reduced their sentences due to their age and guilty pleas.
